I'm trying to plan a trip to Central, South America to shoot film. Admittedly I'm a bit nervous about packing my 4X5 gear, or my Bronica for travels in that part of the country. I'll be flying down there sometime this Spring and plan on traveling pretty light. Any suggestions on what to take, what to avoid, where best to go, or any other thoughts from folks who have done this? Could be gone for about a month, and I'm more interested in photographing people, architecture and some landscape, but mostly people. Also thought about bringing a 35mm RF and just doing some street photography if bringing my 4X5 is too risky.
