In a box of junk I recently picked up I found a Spectra CT #3S (1/2) filter in series VI size. It appears to have a brownish cast or maybe yellow/brown...anybody know what this is?

Have you tried contacting Spectra? They have an active web site and a great customer service staff. I am sure that they could answer your question accurately via e-mail or phone.

Many thanks, Michael! I have run searches on Yahoo and Dogpile for "Spectra filter" and haven't found anything...do you know their web address? Can't imagine why it didn't show up on my searches...had no idea they still existed.
