    Hands on LF

    Hello Everyone.

My name is Marcia and I'm from the UK. I'm an enthusiastic hobby photographer specialised in landscapes for about four years now. During one of my last shootings I met a guy using a LF camera. He really got me interested in that. So I did some research on the internet and stumbled across this forum. Hopefully I can get some advice here. I got the impression, that it will be a new, unique and challenging experience.

    Greetings.
    Marcia.

Or Using the View Camera: A Creative Guide to Large Format Photography by Steve Simmons (it will be used, but seems to be available in the UK - try addall.com).

Not everyone who meets a large format photographer gets the bug. It has to be fertile ground!

Welcome. It's a little bit of effort but the rewards of superb images from LF are worth it.

Welcome to the forum Marcia. Where in The UK are you based? LF is a long learning curve but for me it's the ultimate form of photography. There is a lot to learn, especially about lenses and camera movements but when it all comes together it is very rewarding.
