With a salary of $19-22K per year, it should be considered a volunteer position...
Thanks,

Hey there may be the possiblity of a bonus at the end of the year.....lots to hope on.
Yesh, I've seen similar, where you are the designer, the shooter, and the editor (video related), but it pays as if it was one position. Yeah, one will likely get a large salary increase for making coffee in the office.

I didn't realize non-profits paid bonuses. I wonder if they offer benefits, like health insurance. But the job market being what it is, I bet they get a lot of MFAs applying for the position.
I am constantly reminded that I am old. I thought the position was to manage a darkroom. Didn't realize digital workstations and inkjet printers constituted a "lab".

This position is the Lab Director. He/she will manage the "resident Lab Technician" (not to mention volunteers). Can you imagine the salary of that technician?
I realize the organization is a non-profit. And maybe there's great benefits to help offset the low pay. But it seems insulting to someone with the skills they desire.
OTOH, their approach to volunteer lab assistants, while not generous, seems more fair.
