Hi, after two years working with Graflex, I decided to upgrade to a new camera with more movement capabilities.
I choosed Chamonix Hs-1 with Fresnel option (extra cost). This week I finally received the beauty, however there is a problem with the ground glass.

Please excuse the crappy cell phone photo, I hope it shows the problem:

There are small bright spots ALL OVER the GG, but visible only at the certain angle.
It is a distraction and obviously I expect the brand new camera would be defect free.

I contacted the e-bay seller and I've got following answer:

I asked factory about the tiny white spots, they said it just the granules of the GG,they were looked brighter after Fresnel lens, it's not defective, but need to adapt that.
My suggestion is you could try to take off the protective glass and Fresnel glass to test again,if that's good for you,I will refund you Fresnel lens price $40.If you are still not fully satisfied with our camera then, we accept you return and we will refund you.

So, it looks like every Chamonix camera has the same problem. Is it true? I'd appreciate any advice.

JaZ.
