    Pretty sure he uses a medium format panoramic camera as opposed to LF, but I have admired his work for years: Pentti Sammallahti (Finnish). Here is a bio and sample work: http://monovisions.com/pentti-sammallahti/

    In Australia Just about every photographer shot panorama it seemed in the 90's and into the 2,000's after Ken Duncan made it popular , they were all much the same landscapes or seascapes velvia on cibachrome or fujiflex in later years
