Scanner epson 4870

Since I have installed Tiger, my Scanner 4870 does not work.
A messsage error said always: The scanner you have chosen is not the one which is selected
However it is the good one

If you are using the Epson software from the original CD you might want to check Epson's web site for a newer version, as it was updated some weeks ago. If still not successful, try deinstalling the software, then reinstalling again. I use a freinds 4870 to scan my LF negs, and advised her not to upgrade until she had researched and found no compatibility problems. Just out of interest, I installed a new Epson 4990 on a new G5 with Tiger on Friday, no problems with Epsons software, but I didn't try Silverfast.

Silverfast has new drivers out for Tiger and most scanners ... you will find them on the website.

Thanks to all for your quick answers.
After downloading the new drivers, I had to desinstall the old ones before reinstalling the new ones.
And now everything works
