gnuyork - I like that dark wooded image a lot. Where was that? And of course I recognize lower Raven Cliff falls . I need to go out to Raven Cliff proper and see the falls again. Last time I did the light wasn't good.

Hi Corran, I took the dark wooded image in NY state where I grew up. It's part of the Finger Lakes trail system in a place called Hoxie Gorge. I was with my dad and we might have wandered off the trail on to private property at that point (not sure). I hike in Hoxie Gorge every time I head home for a visit. Most of my hiking photos are taken there...from 4x5 to 35mm (and digital, which these are, from the Sigma Merrill camera)
Yes, I love Raven Cliffs, in fact I love N.GA. - reminds me a bit of home.
