OK so now I'm pretty well settled that my next camera will be a 7x17.
Since I don't know the image circle size of my 450mm Fuji C lens will it cover this format?
My next option would be to buy a Fuji 600mm.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Rob,
The published image circle for the Fujinon f12.5 450C is 486 mm. It should be capable of covering the 7X17 format. You'll need a lot of bellows extension and long arms to use the Fuji 600C.
The 450mm f/12/5 Fujinon-C will cover 7X17 with quite a bit of movement. In fact, the circle of illumination will actually cover up to 12X20, though you would need to stop down a lot for decent perfomance on the corners.

Hi Sandy and Eugene,
Are you guys refering to the 600 mm Fujinon C? I believe the 450mm version is f 8.5 and has a published image circle of 380 mm. The 600 is f 12.5 and has a 486 mm image circle.

That sounds more like the 300mm version, which is f/8.5 and would cover just about that size circle.
The 450mm Fuji-C is f/12.5. At least the one I'm holding in my hand right now is.
The lens I own is the fuji 450 mm C f12.5.
I get the impression it will cover the 7x17.
Thanks guys.

Oops, sorry, I was thinking of the 300...

I can personally confirm that the Fuji 450mm will cover 7x17 and 12x20.
