very nice work
Thank you.
Now you're just showing off.
And I'm just jealous that I'm not that talented.
Hi Jim, what a beautiful camera! I really dig the walnut with the oil rub finish. Do you have any plan to do a public show and tell for the SoCal crowd? I am just looking for an excuse to pay you a visit before you leave town.
Nice job Jim.
Who made the bellows?
Tim, I'm glad I was able to get the back done for your studio camera as well. I can't believe I was working on your 8 x 10 Century back at the same time as Matt's 14 x 17. I guess I found something I can do pretty well finally.
Jeff, Matt Stage is the owner of the camera and has it now. All I have is some cell phone pictures because my digital camera's memory card took a dump. Got corrupted somehow. So PM Matt might be the best thing.
Chris, the bellows were made by Custom Bellows in England and are beautiful. I can highly recommend them. They made the ones for my tailboard design 14 x 17.
Andreios, the frame made from 1/2" 80/20 and 1 " 80/20 locked together with their standard fasteners. It is lightweight and rigid. The central piece of the frame is 1" x 2" and it has a sliding platform that has adjustable bushings and is very smooth. The wooden extension frame screws into it from the bottom. Once cut and anodized the frame does not take that long to assemble. I really love the way the black and walnut look together. No other tweaks.
Another beauty Jim. Thanks for sharing.
Jim Noel
