Thickness of "American Plastic" iris blades?

I have only seen these on an old Unicum shutter so a bit lacking in experience.
Does anyone have an idea of the thickness of these compared with the usual brass variety?
Or experience of replacing them with brass?

I mean the type that were used for iris alone, not the combination iris/shutter versions which seemed such a good idea at the time!

I have told that their thickness is around 0.30mm.

Has anyone experience of replacing some the damaged with similar made of brass/bronze?
