    Your favorite Go To film?

    I would like to get a vote on what everyone is shooting these days.
    Indoor, outdoor, natural light, general portrait photography
    I have my favs, but would like to know yours.

    100 - 400 asa

    4x5 - 8x10

    In the last decade or so I've only used two films in 5x4. TMY-2, and Portra 160.

    My favorites..

    Color neg: Ektar
    E-6: Velvia 100
    B&W: Fuji Acros, however, in 5x7 and 8x10, I shoot with FP4.

    I use Tri-X 35mm, 120 and 4x5, for everything.

    For color negative, I really like Portra 400--the colors are predicable and it's not too difficult to color-correct. Been shooting a lot of Foma 400 in 8x10 because it's cheap (arista edu).
