True---and add a shovel as well---a real shovel. And some food & water

Just peaked at the El Capitan webcam and the entire frame is 18% gray....the Valley seem to have some fog here and there. Some views are (partially) possible of the falls or the Half Dome.

    Re: Yosemite Report

Alas, we might get a dusting of snow atop of coastal hills tomorrow. But I'll be in the darkroom with no driving plans to the Sierra this winter. I've already had more than my fair share of snow during recent Sierra "summers" and need to get some of those scenes printed. I miss my house and fields up there, esp the
beautiful diorite boulders around my place, but all that granite, tree, brush and fence work sure wore my fingers out. I'm paying someone to re-tile my bathrooms
here. More stuff to haul home in my truck tonite.

Hmm, hope Freso, CA doesn't adopt this naming convention.

Here in the Bay Area our regional system is called BART, so you can figure out the Fresno equivalent on your own....

Snowing right now. Looks to be anywhere between 8-16" with this storm. Clearing tomorrow.
