I have been busy hoarding lenses, renovating the house, and restarting analog. Here is a shot with 225mm f/2.3 , super D 4x5, arista edu 400 @ 200 ASA, D-76

    Hello,

Does anyone know how to unscrew the Heidosmat 150mm/2.8 from the outer silver barrel? I tried but it just won't give. Is there a certain way to do this or is it just screwed to tight. The front back ring will not move when I try to unscrew it from the outer aluminum barrel. Thank you in advance!

Thanks for all the inspiration. I am working on a 3x4 Series D at the moment (new mirror, new shutter etc.) and I don't know yet which lens to choose :-).

I think I have one of those lenses stored in a box. These images definitely make me reconsider selling it.

Buhl or Hektor 178mm or 200mm should do the trick

Heidosmat is a good lens. It is 4 elements and the schematic is similar if not the same as Buhl/Hektor

    That's terrific!
