    Hi Giovanni,

A dicroic enlarger head is designed to be used for making color prints. However, it can also be used to print on B&W VC paper. The Zone VI VC head is designed for making B&W prints in VC paper. It uses two flourescent tubes, a blue one and a green one, with adjustable outputs. For all intents and purposes, it is not suitable for printing on color paper.

It appears that the Zone VI VC head will soon be replaced by the new LED type head. Parts and service may not be readily available. Since you live in Italy, I certainly recommend the CLS 501 head for the Durst L1200.
