sheet film inserts for 13x18 and 18x24

Hello, does anybody know how to adapt old wooden back for photo glass to sheet film. Are sheet film inserts or adaptors anywhere available? I have a "Reisekamera" (view) in 13x18 and one in 18x24. I would be very glad for any advice!!!

At least for the 13x18 wouldn;t modern 5x7 holders fit? The external dimensions of the modern 13x18 and 5x7 film holders are exactly the same.

Modern 5x7 holders can be interchanged with 13x18 holders, but if the camera was originally designed for glass plates, you have another problem.

The location of the ground glass won't be identical to the location of the film plane (and the camera won't focus properly) if it was designed for glass plates and you try to use a sheet film holder.

If this is a permanent change, is there a way to plane down the spacers on the back, to get the ground glass forward so that it is in the correct location for sheet film? Or are they metal?
