Usually referred to as the Stupidly Large Format camera. It will probably end up being multi format with the largest size being about 30"x40" for shooting paper negs or DPP if available.

Is the back portion frame to support your seat and the middle frame for the steering column? Hehe. That's awesome!

Paul, how will you transport that thing? And what lens will cover 30x40?

It's intended for portraits in a studio, so I'm looking at mounting it to a four wheel hand trolley. You can get them with an inbuilt scissor lift for a few hundred dollars. I have a 42" Artar which should cover at 1:1.
