Anyone one know if this film is based on Rebecca Solnit's "River of Shadows"? If it is, it could be most interesting indeed—Muybridge's story is a most interesting one.

Tullie Yazzie and I were contemplating a washout in the Canyon de Chelly when his cousin and two hikers walked up. One of the hikers and I got to talking photography and he told me he was working on a film about Muybridge he had written that was nearly in production. From his description and the look of the trailer, must be this project. I think I have his card somewhere.
Looks to be an interesting movie, have seen a lot of those motion type photos,would be great to know more about the man behind the camera... err camera's.
just saw the film last night with the cast and crew. it was a good indie movie. try to catch it if it plays at your city.
