future of 55/665

since the recent buyout, has anyone heard any more news about the future of packfilm/4x5 polaroid, especially the wonderful p/n material??

does anyone know if fuji plans to add a 665 product to its "polaroid" line??

The 4x5 sheet films, 52, 53, 55, ,59, etc. are still available. These are the films that use the Model 545 Holder. The full list is at

The 4x5 size of pack films has been discontinued -- the links for 553, 554, 559, 572 and 579 at http://www.polaroid.com/products/product_list.jsp?FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302023690&bmUID=1094661201211&PRDREG=null&sc=Packfilm all lead to statements that the product is "No Longer Manufactured". These are the films that use the Model 550 Holder. Some other sizes of pack film remain in production. This decision was made some time ago, before the change in ownership was announced.
