Hi, I have found in our storage (a local graphics and photography college) a ScanView 5000 drum scanner with software but no dongle....can anyone tell me how I get to a dongle and a more recent software - the current version is 3.1?

Scanmate is long out of business but the folks at ABC Scan in Denmark still service the units and offer replacement parts and dongles.

You can download the last available versions of the software here:

I have a Scanview 4000 that has been sitting since 2004, and is used. I also have a Scanview 5000 that is reportedly unused and has a similar recent history. Looking to sell one or both. Approx 200 miles south of you in downtown Austin. Both scanviews are in their original shipping crates. Made to ship anywhere in world. I am getting the dongles, drums. fluids, oem and personal documentation. software etc. today. Still need to locate an older Mac with OS9 to test or find updated software for 10. Suggestions appreciated.
