Tripods with no preset leg angle stops and carbon fiber legs?

Bob, I still have an early Linhof tripod that may meet your needs and in near new condition. I had offered it for sale nearly 5 yrs ago with no takers. Many description details were provided in that offer, although the Flickr link no longer works. It's not CF and weighs 7.5 lbs sans the 3-way Linhof head that came with it. The legs' umbrella braces can be independently, continuously spread from closed position to 45* plus (as close as I can measure), then locked via sizable knobs that would require only slight stooping. The leg extensions use the usual twist locks. The tips have spikes with retractable rubber tips that can be extended on the spikes' threads to cover the spikes. PayPal is now an added option. There is one coming soon - Looks like RRS has a new model that fits what I'm looking for - Versa - with adjustable leg locks. They have not released the pricing or release date. I am sure it will be expensive, so I will have to start saving up now. Many thanks to all who took the time to post on this thread. For now I am going to just make do with what I have.

I use a manfrotto carbon fiber, three section legs replace head with acratech leveling base. Light weight sturdy.
