I believe they used the same rack for all models, but am not sure. If that is the case you could get any old B&J and salvage the racks, but be sure to confirm sizes before you do, as I could be wrong!

I can't speak for the 4x5 and 5x7 models, but the beds on the 8x10 and 11x14 both share the same widths at 7⅝" for the bed and 8¼" to the rail edges. The difference is the length.

I actually made an extension rail for my 11x14 B&J Commercial View out of an old B&J 5x7 Rembrandt that had a shot bellows. Fit perfectly.

The 11x14 is a beast so I made a tripod block for it that make attaching it to a Majestic head much easier. The block is left attached to the tripod and the camera slides into position along some brass strips that mate with the groove on the camera bed. Once in position, a couple thumb screws underneath the block lock the camera in place.

Hmm. That would be great if the 5x7 and 8x10 shared the same width. They are a lot less expensive than trying to find another 8x10 commercial view.

Is the tripod block how the bed connected to the tripod on a normal Commercial View, or was there a threaded hole for the tripod head?
