Gundlach Hyperion and Zeiss Tessar interchanged, but the Miroscope lens stole the day

An exercise in sharp vss soft with identical images made with a very sharp Zeiss, then re-made with a lovely soft Hyperion.

Click on the FORD to see the rest of the set. An even 10 for the sake of the JOBO. We always shoot in 5's.

These were done in Goldfield, NV. If you're ever near Goldfield, you need to turn on KGFN @ 89.1 The only radio station I know of that advertises the whore house down the road from Goldfield.

Wonderful series, Jim, and the narration really brings it to life. A lot of old memories began to stir shaking off inches of dust, thanks.

Beautiful set Jim. The narrative and seeing Bink's "A" brings fond memories of my first car, a '29 "A" roadster.

    Jim,

As one car nut to another you might enjoy this 1928, 28 litre Italian Job.

Starts slow, but it's worth a look.

Yes, yes, I've been watching that thing come together over at Old Motor. I chose my parents way way too poorly to ever dream of such things. That's rich man's toys there. Not 1928, though. More like 1911. Set the records in 1913 and then was quiet for 100 years. Fabulous to see it belching fire now! The Beast of Turin.
