Burke & James made the Grover as a rail version of their tailboard view cameras. You either love them or you hate them. They are ugly in thier grey paint, but you can usually get them cheap. The locks and such are not as good as a new to p-of-the-line camera, but it is perfectly serviceable with a little consideratio n. I use a 4X5 and a 5X7

It was B&J's companion camera to the famous Ernie-nox and Hassle-Burt

I have a 5x7 Burke&James monorail, with a 4x5 back and a 2x3 back, so I guess you could say I have a 4x5. A good camera, a little on the heavy side, but very servicabel. Pat
