A Chamonix is a very nice, precision camera made in China.

Real cameras are measured in inches...
    Not pixels.

Yepper , only made it that way because that`s all I got.
A person could easily cut a bigger hole in the back for bigger paper or glass.

Question, what kind, size lens does it need to put a image on a 5x7 paper at a longer distance.
The bellows can extend to about 20 inch.

I shouldn`t even ask because that doesn`t make any sense to me.
It was fun building the camera, if I don`t have a lens that will focus a image on the glass at somewhere between five and 20 inches so be it.
    Good conversation object.

The backboard reminds me of a WW armored shield. You could put a double-pane window on it.

I am a Minnesotan, too, and have my share of Cabin Fever projects.

Watching your progress with sincere interest.

Thanks everyone for your replies and interest, as I`ve said before I`m pretty ignorant about cameras I just like building things to see if I can make it work.
I need to make a focus glass tomorrow then see if anything will work, then will have to make a tripod for it.
