I was shooting with my Balcar A5000 when it suddenly stopped firing. The capacitors all seemed to charge and the 'ready' light was on but it would not fire.
Is there any quick diagnostic test to tell if it is the flash tube or something internal?

How are you triggeringthe pack/ via sync cord (could be the problem) or the test button or both? Is it doing this with more than one head?
Have you checked the fuses in the head?
Hopefully you have unplugged the pack and let it sit for a couple of days and tried usingthe test button to discharge the pack. Once the pack has sat check the fuses.
