Komura 300mm Copal 1 f/6.3

300mm Komura in a Copal 1 shutter...f/6.3 to f/64. I have heard that these are great performers...will it cover 8X10 or is it the Copal 3 Commerical (same f stop) that covers 8X10? I am thinking of buying an 8X10 camera and wondering if anyone can confirm/ deny this?

Komura 300mm in Copal 1 and in Copal 3 are two different lens. I've captured both picture, see attachment.
I got the Copal 1.

To clarify, The lens in the #1 shutter is a telephoto and likely covers 4x5 only. The lens in the #3 shutter is the one you want for 8x10.
