    Re: speed graphic pacemaker

I found out the hard way just how different the per-Anniversary and Pacemaker Graphicss were when I bough two Speed Graphic parts camera sold as parts to make one good one. In fact both were restorable the Pacemaker without a shutter though but no parts were common.

When you get rear rails make sure you shim them so that the standard slides easily from on & off to the front rail. If you haven't already removed the damaged rails you'll see the shims I mean when you do.

The Anniversary Speed Graphic uses the same focus track as the Pacemakers, I'm not sure if the rear rails are the same they may well be. The major difference is the Anniversary still uses the older style front standard with no tilt.

    Re: speed graphic pacemaker

when i couldn't find parts to replace my in box/rear track
i asked a friend who repairs cameras and he told me
to remove the track from the box and flip it ... the part that was
clipped will now be inside the back of the box. yeah i know it isn't
a new part to search for, but it gives you a second chance to close the case
with the lens standard out a little bit, or the track out a little bit, to
    clip it again ....

good luck with your repairs !
