I've spent all day developing film, and will add to the thread as I get the scanning done. I decided to put some digital aging on this one as well.

The first one reminds me a bit of photos I have of my father. It looks real, except the title on the jeep, the age and weight of the soldiers, and the sunglasses.

Hi Tim,
Indeed, age and weight are issues with photographing the re-enactments. I put a scratch texture on the first one as well. After the one on the scanner now finishes cooking, I'm going to try scanning at lower resolution with out "ME" engaged in Silverfast. Using the Multiple Exposure mode in SilverFast then reducing to "sharpen" in Photoshop is rendering images too sharp to be vintage looking I think.

Nonetheless, here are a couple more I've already scanned though they may look too "modern"

Funny you should write that. This is the first film developing day I've had in many moons. Even earlier that WW1! And so it isn't too surprising that I found this duplicate in the bottom of the "exposed" box:

Cool looking at this stuff. Brings back a lot of memories from my childhood growing up between Quantico and Ft. Belvior Va. My dad was still in the army then, and almost all of our neigbors had served either in WW II, or if they were youngsters, Korea. My uncle was a bit of a bad ass. A glider pilot that flew gliders into combat three times, and won the Silver Star. My dad (his little brother) won the Bronze Star for calling in artillery fire from a water tower between two armies when he was 19. My brother's best friend's father had a Navy Cross from sinking a Japanese cruiser with a torpedo bomber when he was just 19. When we were kids we ran around playing army with swords and helmets captured by our parents...
