    I suppose; I use a scan dual iv and it works with the Minolta software it comes with if you perform a driver modification, which is quite easy. I think it works for the iii as well; you'd have to Google it.

    I'll echo that. The 4990 is poor for 35mm, ok for 645, decent for 6x7 and great for 5x4, 6x12 and 6x17. For 5x7 and 10x8 I imagine it's knockout too.
