    flushing 4800, how many times?

Hi, i am flushing my 2 epson 4800 printers with the cleaner/flush from piezography.

One printer is going to be converted piezography BW printing, the other will continue with colour using epson inks.

I have done 2 power cleans on each printer, leaving 24hrs between each one.

The pipes look mostly clear except where the pipes curve the most, here there are a couple sections of pipe that still show the ink colour?

Shall i keep power cleaning till pipes are clear?

    thanks

When you loaded the cleaner cartridges did you run an initial fill?

Next time, do that first . It completely replaces the ink in the system.

Ok will do that when put the ink cartridges back in.

Still the question remain, should i keep flushing till the small section of ink in pipes are gone?

They are not complete blocks, just what appears to be ink stuck to inside of tubing!

    thanks

How old are these printers? Boy, the money in ink I spent on my 4000 doing cleaning cycles . . .

    Whew!

Is this an on-going problem, or a transitional problem?

One is old with lot of use and will be used for colour.

The other one is newer and has little use, this is the one for conversion to BW.

    thanks

I would ask someone at Inkjetmall.
