John's camera is the last version of the deluxe universal view. We should map out all of the changes sometime. It's pretty interesting.
All the Ansco Universal View cameras after Agfa Ansco was seized by the US Government, and production moved, were Gray, they were initially built for military use and build quality was slightly lower than the earlier models.
