    Borderless printing with HP Z3200

Why can only gloss paper rolls be printed without boarders? Is there any way to fake it with other papers?

    Hi Stanley -
The Z Series printers don't do borderless on matte papers because there is potential for curling at the edges, which could cause head strikes.
There is, however, a way to trick the printer with a workaround.

Go into color center and create a new custom paper. Create a New Paper Preset based on "Photo Pearl Paper More Ink". Then change the paper settings - slide gloss enhancer to 1, etc.

Then calibrate the matte paper, then create and install an ICC profile.

It may not be exactly the profile you want, but it should work fairly well.

You can check out the document: Working with non-HP papers to understand which papers/settings are which (pages 6-8)

This would be my approach. Your mileage may vary -

    Thanks Mark,
I'll give it a try. I will try to use Lexjet Premium Archival Matte paper.
