How to re-set an Arca B1 Head

I have an Arca Swiss B1 monoball head. Last time I was out using it, the ball itself was too tight for easy panning adjustment of my camera position, despite twisting and turning both knobs this way and that. I am no expert with this head yet.

I don't know how to set it back to the factory 'zero' so I can start again. Can someone briefly explain what is the 're-set' procedure to set this back to normal friction 'zero' point?

    Thanks a lot.

http://www.precisioncameraworks.com has an entire article on how to do this and more. Courtesy of the best camera repairman around (not the Arca company).
