    ROC 4x5 lens

Does anyone have a listing for an R.O.C. 4x5 lens?
It is a single meniscus brass lens with a rotating aperture.
I would like to learn when it was made, and what camera it appeared on.

    Thanks,
    Jim

    Hey Jim

They were made in the late 1800's and a good but inexpensive landscape lens. It was Paired up mostly on the New Model & New Model Improved cameras which were meant for the "amateur" user.

Oh yea! Here's the link to the catalog. Go to his site Jim and take a look at the many ROC catalogs from the time that W.F. Carlton Was owner to the many years after the take over by the Eastman thugs.
