Requirements of Zone VI Cold Light Head

    Hi All,

I have just moved to Australia and I´m trying to put together my darkroom again.

Here the electricity is 220v, but I have an Omega D2 with a Zone VI cold light head, bought in the US and therefore 110v.

I want to buy a 220 to 110 transformer to use it but have no idea on the requirements of the cold light head. Does anyone have any idea on how many watts does a cold light head like this one consumes?

    Thanks for any pointer,

    Enrique.-

I don't know which unit you have or whether it is a dual grid, i.e. VC. I'm guessing you have a 4x5 single grid. It is probably like the Aristo equivalent that shows about 70W.

    See their page:

Is this the only 110V equipment you have? Consider getting a transformer that is big enough for all the stuff you have, if you can wire it that way.
