    Traditional Darkroom

RE: "...except that I don't like to make a picture of a beautiful environmental scene, then flush chemstry through it."

Have you ever wondered where all those outdated computers, keyboards, monitors, scanners, printers, printer cartidges, hard drives, CD burners, etc., end up? And how long they might persist in the environment? As compared to the environmental impact and persistance of most darkroom chemicals. I believe most darkroom chemicals are quite biodegradable, the main exception being heavy metals (fixer/silver and selenium, etc.) which need to be desposed of properly or recovered. And I'm sure you've guessed I stongly prefer a wet lab for many of the same reasons stated above.

To Brain Ellis: it is extremely hard to forget my dog as he is an airedale and sometimes hangs with me in the darkroom but I do forget him occasionally. Don't tell my wife about this
