New guy in Oakland

Hey everyone! I've been lurking around here for awhile and thought it was time to hop aboard. What a great resource this forum is, I'm excited that these forums exist, without them I think getting into large format would be a much more expensive and frustrating process! I have a Busch pressman from eBay with a frustrating 127mm lens! After much trial and error I'm starting to get some decent negatives, but I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on a proper field camera with more movements as I'm having some focusing issues. Anyways, I'm excited to be a part of the community and I'm looking forward to my continued education!

Regarding the 127mm, it is frustrating because if i use any movements I was tending to get lots of vignetting. After more research I discovered the image circle of the 127mm ektar just barely covers the 4x5. I shot quite a bit before doing any developing, hence my frustrations after seeing the negs! Oh well! Its been a blast anyhow, and i recently got a 210 nikkor that has gotten me a few nice shots. I had to modify the little pressman front standard, but it wasn't too bad.
