Hello from El Segundo

Howdy from El Segundo, CA!
Excited to be a part of the group, seems like a good place to soak up some knowledge!
I have been dabbling with 4x5 (sinar f2) off and on for the last couple of years, I shoot mostly portraits and some still lifes.
I'm mostly medium format, with a recent year or so diversion into digital (glad to get that out of my system) but now back to film. This year I'm trying to challenge myself and focus most of my time on large format. I find shooting with a view camera to be such a blast! I adore the process and am really looking forward to what the year will bring! Hopefully I'll not have too many silly questions! :-)

Welcome Shawn, I have also used med format alot and still due and use large format it is fun stuff.

Shawn, I just love your photograph of the lady under the hair dryer!

You will find the members on here also shoot smaller formats as well as digital. Each has it's place. It's hard to hand hold a Sinar F2 for snapshots. Welcome to the forum!
