    Canon ipf 8300 quits unexpectedly

I have been having this problem for awhile when printing from my Mac to a Canon ipf8300. I get this message "ImagePROGRAF IOS Application quit unexpectedly". I was able to solve this for some time by logging out and logging in as another user. Now it is doing it on no matter how I log in. I have had no luck with Canon or Apple. It has me stumped.

Any suggestions would be appreciated greatly.

Did you try repairing disk permissions?

    Mark,

I was skeptical but that did it. It was crashing as it was spooling and now it spools all the way. It is printing now but still a bit wonky. The Print Monitor window does not show anything in it when sending to the printer and printing.

    Thanks much.

    Glad it is working out.

Why would a Mac OS X system announce an 'IOS' error?
