    Film Development

I've been trying to find a cheaper solution for keeping constant temps when developing c-41 and e-6 in my darkroom. I came across this on amazon and wondering if anyone has tried it, or has another cheap alternative. I know the wattage is a bit over kill, but I think it might be a viable solution. Eagar to hear everyone's thoughts.

    Thanks,

    Marc

I apologize, that link doesn't work. Here is another with the heater part. The thermostat is a bundle deal right below it.

$157 for the heater and control unit? Seems like a lot of money if you are on a budget. Have you tried a simple aquarium heater already?

I got a Jobo tempering bath a few years ago for about $200. Something to consider if 'not on a budget.'

As far as budget, I meant spending hundreds of dollars on a dedicated temp controller meant for developing. More so looking for the MacGyver version. I have an aquarium heater I use to develop my black and white images. (The water coming out of my basement is usually around 12-15C) I did more research and found out I can sand down the thermostat controller on my aquarium heater to be able to achieve higher temps. At the moment it only goes to about 90F. Thanks for your help!
