210mm G-Claron Cells - confused or not... ?

Outside diameter of the rear element group is 58mm.

The engraving is definitely 210mm. There are no markings at all on the rear cells at all.

The one I had already that I wanted to replace the rear cell is 45mm and has s/n 13462381 engraved on it (rear cell).

58 isn't one of the G-Claron numbers. It could be anything. Something from some other plasmat, but not correct for that lens. Send it back where it came from if at all possible. If it's 57mm it's possible it is a rear group from a 270 G-Claron according to Schneider's chart.

Andrew, I don't know. I've visited Jim twice. We've eaten out both times so I don't really know what to expect from Chef Jim. But since he usually goes overboard, he'll probably come up with more than one crow dish and many sides.
