HELP! Web site is stealing our LFphoto.info content!

The site naijafinder.com seems to be stealing content from LFphoto.info, and reposting it as their own, and with no attiribution.

I started the following thread on LFphoto.info in December 2013, and it now appears on the other site, without mention of the origination.

    Original posting at LFphoto.info:
    http://www.largeformatphotography.in...s-with-Strobes

Stolen thread, reposted without permission, or attribution:
    http://www.naijafinder.com/threads/1...s-with-Strobes

I want it taken off the offending site (naijafinder.com), but their contact form doesn't work. Is there anything LFphoto.info moderators can do to go after them? Perhaps through contact with their ISP or webhosting company? I tried to submit a contact form on their site, but the contact form doesn't work.

As a journalist, I'm very sensitive to this kind of copyright infringement. I worry that they will start hijacking our posted art soon (if they aren't already)!

    Help!

    Cheers,

    Michael

This is incredibly common on the internet, I wouldn't sweat it too much. It's just an automated site trying to suck page views. The time and effort and $$$ to try to take one down is not worth it. Chances are Google's own algorithims will figure them out and de-list them or lower their ranking (if they haven't already).

Speaking of Google, you should delete the link to that page as you add credibility to their site by linking to it from this site.

Yeah. No big deal. We're not solving world hunger here. A bunch of drivel really.

HAHA Good point. As long as it's not going to start robbing us of our art, then it's probably OK.
