    Fungus or Schneideritis?

These digital affectionados don't seem to know the difference.

They are not the only ones. I recently bought a LF Fujinon which was described by the long-established dealer as having one "tiny fungus spot". I took a chance because of the favorable price and generous return policy. The lens is superb, and the tiny fungus spot is barely detectable "Fujiitis".

    That's hilarious!

I own a Fujinon 250mm f/6.7 lens with a touch of "Fujiitus". I bought it off Ebay for a good price being the only bidder. It takes excellent pictures of course.

Yeah, it's a close cousin to Schneideritis.

Good ol' Fuji-itis...great for the buyer, not so good for the seller.

Yes. This is the same outfit that spews bunch of ads about Canon/Nikon being "different".....so they can get more hits on their site.....too much like KR. Nowhere to hide .

FWIW I bought this lens and it is Schneideritis. IE:bubbles or separation of the blacking paint from the glass. It's actually a pretty simple fix.
