Question My Scan is not recognized on most photo editing software (iQsmart Scanner)?

I scan with tiff files and adobe RGB Color Space and only photoshop CS and Apple Aperture can import them but lightroom and C1...etc. will not recognize it! Do anyone have an explanation for this weird stuff!?

My coolscan files on the same scanning computer are recognized by all the software mentioned above!!! and I scan them also tiff and Adobe RGB

Try changing the extension from .tif to .tiff, or vice-versa. I have to do this with the Eversmart files I scan in .tiff format. PS will not recognize the file until I change the extension.

    Hope this helps.

    Dear Sandy,
It worked. I only added .tif or .tiff to the files and every software I tried found the photos.

    Thanks.
