Rodenstock Geronar 210mm not functioning for 5x7 field camera

Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me troubleshoot. I just purchased a Rodenstock Geronar 210mm lens in great condition for a vintage 5x7 field camera. Although this lens should be adequate, the lens does not cover the ground glass fully. I'm wondering if I am doing something wrong.

    Thanks for your help.

Your Geronar stopped down to F22 will give you an image circle of 242mm. The lens should cover 5x7 but it won't give you a lot of room for movements.

These were entry level lenses made for 4x5 that were cheaper in price but at the cost of coverage. They are fine lenses though.
