    Greetings from Oregon.

Since this is an introduction forum a little about me.
I studied commercial photography from 1975 to 1976 @ PVTI in St Pete Fla. Graduated and received my 2 year cert.
I apprenticed witha PPA master photographer for another year. Then worked in a B& W “Custom” lab for 2 more years.
Soon discover that in commercial photography the clients didn’t care if you enjoy your work or found it satisfying.
Got burned out sold all my gear & didn’t touch a camera for a decade.

Fast forward 20 years. I moved from Fla. to Oregon got excited about shooting landscapes & started up again shooting 35mm RVP chromes & then got a Nikon D90.
As enjoyable as digital is it is not LF & I miss the LF process.
So here I am 30 years later & I am starting all over again as newbie.
While the basic principals & mechanics of LF have not changed, a whole lot has!

So my journey of LF rediscovery begins.
Started my darkroom with a nice Omega D5XL enlarger with the help from the nice folks here.
And now need to buy a 4X5 outfit.
So here I am eager to learn what is “new” in LF & hopefully share what knowledge that I have that is still pertinent.
    Thanks
    PQ

Below is a link to some of my images.
Some are digital captures others are digital scans of 35mm film.

    Re: Greetings from Oregon.

Welcome! Always nice to see new members from the PNW.

Looking forward to seeing your LF landscapes of our region.

Some people think photography is just about inner vision, not a beautiful place to shoot. Perhaps they have not visited our tiny piece of the planet, but I do wish them the best.

    Thanks Heroique,
Your advise & encouragement on the D5XL was most helpful & the one of the reasons I am going back to LF.
Digital is just not doing it for me anymore!
    Thanks again!
