Very nice snow photos Austin and Pali!

Last month I shot some SF photos of snow and granite. I also ran a roll through the Rolleiflex at the same outing.

That's really nice. I'm feeling the highlights a lot.

Our mountains down here in GA are a little different!

From this past morning. Second day in a row I got out to the trail at 6:30am and drug myself up the mountain. This time the fog cooperated a little bit better.

I agree and love that you shot with a 2X3 Century.

    I assume roll back?

Thanks chassis and Randy. Yep, roll back - I have a few traditional holders but have little interest in shooting with anything but roll film. Had 3 backs with me - one 6x9 w/ Acros, one 6x7 with Velvia, and another 6x7 with some Tech Pan I am testing that I was given. It was nice cranking the rollback and plowing through shots in this quickly-changing situation. Layers of fog/clouds were rolling through and obscuring the view. Technically my Pentax 67ii would've been a better choice for speed but I didn't feel like lugging it. The Century is awesome for lightweight shooting!! And multiple film backs!

Bryan-- Good to see some shots from the Southern Highlands! I've been trying to dial-in my Pentax 67 load-out the past couple of weeks...streamside strolls are a piece of cake, but this past Monday a couple of thousand feet elevation gain up from Cades Cove saw me take a quick left down Bote Mountain instead of a right up to Spence, and head back down the holler.

A couple from Elkmont, GSMNP (Pentax 67; 200/4; Acros 100.)
