    River Tree, Mossman Gorge
    Gelatin-silver photograph on Fomabrom Variant 111 VC FB, image area 21.5cm x 16.2cm, from a Tmax 100 negative exposed in a Mamiya RB67 camera fitted with a 50mm f4.5 lens.
    The tree clings tightly to the rocks and has resisted many wet season floods.
    Photography:first utterance. Sir John Herschel, 14 March 1839 at the Royal Society. "...Photography or the application of the Chemical rays of light to the purpose of pictorial representation,..".

    Absolutely breathtaking photography in this thread, isn't it? It will force the rest of the humanity to ask itself - were we all blind up to this moment? How can the hidden pearls of this thread be so openly present here without causing social unrest in artistic circles?

    We all have voices we listen to. My muses come to me in the most unexpected moments and places. I try to use them in my photography, that's why I'm rarely separated from my camera even on gray days. Cheers!
