    A trip to the mountains

I had a wonderful time recently on a trip to Glacier National Park with my 2 daughters and my relatively new 4x5. I had been experiencing lots of light leaks prior to my trip, but it looks like I patched them all, as none of the exposures had leaks during the trip. I was thrilled to be using a 4x5 for mountain landscapes, and made a travelogue illustrated with a few of them here.

Didn't have time to do more than skim the text, but liked what I read. Will finish it later. The photos are stunning! You have captured a very ethereal feeling in your work. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice, Tom, and a great narrative too. Glacier is indeed a "magnificent" place! I visited in July of 2003 during the fires (unknown to me beforehand, of course), and brought back a number of images from five days in the park. They can be seen here:

Nice work, Tom. Thanks for sharing the link.

I don't know of anything that might top a trip of that nature with the kids. I still remember details of an extended camping/road trip with my son when he was 5. He's now 27. Although keeping a 5 year-old "entertained" was a challenge occasionally, we had a great time.
